Upcoming Fitness Events in Northern Colorado


We had an incredible turnout and so much fun at our triathlon event last weekend. Attendees crushed some workouts at Pure Bare, Orangetheory, and fueled up with tasty shakes from Colorado Nutrition. But if you didn’t make it to our last fitness event in Fort Collins, there is no shortage of other Northern Colorado fitness events coming up in the next month for you to enjoy!

Saturday Run with Endurance Matters and F3 Coaching—May 25th

If you want to get better at running and build up your endurance, this event is a great place to start. Nate and Jen of Endurance Running are hosting a 4-6 mile run starting at Altitude Running. Afterwards they will share about their coaching program and Summer 10K Series.

Free Yoga Sculpt at CorePower—May 25th

There’s nothing better than free yoga! Grab a friend and head to CorePower Yoga in Fort Collins for a free Yoga Sculpt class this Saturday at 8 am. Classes are led by the recent graduates of their teacher training so it’s a great chance for them to gain some experience and for you to get a free class!

Murph Challenge 2019— May 25th

If you’ve spent much time in a CrossFit Box, you are probably familiar with the legendary Murph workout. It’s completed by athletes everywhere over Memorial Day Weekend in honor of the fallen soldier—Lt. Michael P. Murphy. If you want to do the Murph this year with great company, join the crew at CrossFit DNR and enjoy a BBQ afterwards too.

Colorado Run—May 27th

Who needs the Bolder Boulder anyways? The Colorado Run is a 10K that takes to the hills of Horsetooth to test your endurance. New to the race this year is a flat 5K that stays around Spring Canyon Park in Fort Collins and allows for strollers and dogs. And as a part of the Healthy Kids program from UC Health, there is a free one-mile fun-run for children. Make this your family’s new Memorial Day tradition!

Solutions for Stress Presentation—May 29th

Everyone could use a little less stress in their lives. If you feel like stress has a hold on you and you are ready to make a change, this presentation by Dr. Carl Malone at Origin House of Fitness could be just what you need. The presentation will cover the Neuro Emotional Technique (NET) of identifying stressors and getting out of stuck patterns.

Loveland Yoga & Core Fitness Wine and Cheese Night—May 31st

We know not all our Fitness Festival Events fans are in Fort Collins and we love to see NoCo unite with the common love of fitness. So, we had to say congrats to Loveland Yoga by letting you know about their 10-Year Anniversary celebration on May 31st. Drop in from 6pm-8pm for some wine, cheese, and connecting with other yogis in Loveland and beyond.

Yoga at the Park with Snack Attack—June 1 (And Every Saturday This Summer)

Join Snack Attack for outdoor Yoga at the Park. This yoga class is open to anyone and all levels. Bring a yoga mat and come flow from 10-11am beginning Saturday, June 1st, and every following Saturday this summer. The event is free but you can reserve a spot here.

Free Bootcamp at Pursuit Nutrition and Training Center—June 1st

Pursuit Nutrition and Training Center is opening their doors for this free bootcamp in order to raise funds for the Larimer County Walk to End Alzheimer’s. Come for an incredible workout and support an even greater cause. All of your donations for this workout will go towards the Walk to End Alzheimer’s. Just sign up here to make sure you have a spot.

bRUNch at Ginger and Baker—June 2nd

We’ve mentioned our friends at bRUNch Running here on the blog before. But if you missed their last event, not to worry! They have another run coming up on June 2nd and tickets are only $5! Plus, you don’t even have to run! You could also walk or ride your bike on the 5K or 10K course! And when you’re done, you get a mimosa, pie bites, and some sweet swag. You can buy your own brunch as well which—if you’ve ever eaten at Ginger and Baker before—you know is a treat!

National Fitness Campaign, Loveland Launch Festival —June 8th

We are so excited about the launch of the nationally renowned Fitness Court at Fairgrounds Park in Loveland. This world-class outdoor gym is a new addition to the park, and one of only 200 in the country. On June 8th, the City of Loveland and UC Health are hosting two free PULSE classes at the park. The classes are first come first serve, so if you want to guarantee your spot at this free event, register here.
