The Festival Games—Why You and Your Bestie, Spouse, or Your Gym Buddy Should Sign Up!

When we were planning all the things to do in the Fort Collins Fitness Festival in September, we felt like there was something missing. Sure, we have lots of amazing vendors, killer group workouts from the main stage, a 5k run/walk, and even a physique showcase. But what about all those people attending with a competitive spirit? How could we get all of you to bring your best to the table, and crown a winner?

The Festival Games Were Born

Our friends at Pursuit Nutrition and Training brilliantly offered to host the first ever Festival Games. These games—competed in pairs of men, women, or co-ed—are designed to challenge all kinds of athletes. Whether your thing is weightlifting, running, cycling, HIIT, CrossFit, or something else, we are giving you the chance to put your strength and endurance to the test.

Design of the Games

There are three rounds in the Festival Games. Pairs compete in a strength workout, an endurance workout, and a workout that is combination of both. There will be a pair of winners from each category of men, women, and co-ed. The first-place pair win a $200 cash prize, and the second and third places pairs get a swag bag with over $100 worth of gifts.

The Rest of the Details

Here are some more of the details you need to know. First, the gym that brings the most contestants will get a big prize! So, grab all your workout buddies from the gym and get them to sign up with you.

Next, here is your link to sign up. There are two different tickets offered, and it all depends on if you want access to the rest of the Fort Collins Fitness Festival, or just the general admission area (vendors, food, beer garden, and kids zone).

Full experience tickets and Festival Games entry are $75 per pair, and general admission tickets and Games entry are $50 per pair.

With summer winding down, get something on your calendar to give you an extra reason to push your training though the next few months. Don’t miss the Festival Games at the Fort Collins Fitness Festival on September 21st.
