We never want to take for granted living in a community that so values health and fitness. We are all on this journey together, and are so thankful we can do it with like-minded individuals all around us! Here are some of the upcoming health and fitness events in Northern Colorado. And don’t forget our next pop-up event is just a few weeks away on July 27th at New Belgium Brewery! Sign up here!

Athleta Run Club—Every Wednesday Morning

Sometimes all it takes is a little accountability to make sure your workouts happen. And working out in a group is always more fun! That’s why Athleta in Fort Collins hosts a Run Club every Wednesday morning throughout the summer from 7-8:30 am. All ages and abilities are welcome.

Yoga at Spring Park—Every Saturday Morning

Bring your yoga mat and join Snack Attack for a weekly, outdoor yoga class. The class is free (with a suggested $5 donation) and you’ll get to flow with new friends of all ages and levels. The classes are from 10-11 am each Saturday.

Yoga Thirstdays—July 11 and August 1

Throughout the summer, New Belgium hosts a free yoga class from CorePower Yoga. The class for July is on July 11th at 6 pm and the next one is on August 1st. Of course, you can grab some of your favorite New Belgium brews before or after class.

Bootcamp and Fundraiser at Pursuit—July 13

Love to work out for a good cause? This free bootcamp is open to the public and is a great chance to get your butt kicked, and donate to a local charity. Pursuit Nutrition and Training Center holds these bootcamps each month to raise money for different causes. And this month, the goal is to provide a local police officer with Angel Armor.

Gallegos Sanitation 60th Anniversary Celebration—July 13

Gallegos Sanitation is one of the sponsors of the Fort Collins Fitness Festival and we are excited to celebrate their 60th anniversary with them. If you’ve lived in Fort Collins for a while, you know this company has a long-running history with the city. The celebration is family-focused and all about sustainability. Bring your kids to Civic Center Park to check out the new front-loading trash truck—insert all children and children-at-heart gasping in excitement—and so much more.

Yoga and Beer at Crooked Stave—July 17

Doing yoga and drinking craft beer—two of the favorite pastimes of those who call Fort Collins and Northern Colorado home. And you can do both at Crooked Stave on July 17th with yoga instructor Alisha Johnson. Twenty dollars covers the class and your first beer. So grab a friend and your yoga mat and catch this event!

The Human Race—July 27

Ever wonder if you can run faster than a car? Well now you can put your skills to the test, sort of. In this unique 5K, The Human Race, you can race the historic trolley in Old Town Fort Collins on Mountain Ave. There are also a 10K and a half marathon along the beautiful Poudre River Trail, plus a free, one-mile fun run for kids. Dogs, strollers, walkers, and runners are all welcome! This race is on the same day as our triathlon at New Belgium, so go race with Green Events and then come to New Belgium and have fun with Fitness Festival Events!
